The Cologne List offers manufacturers the exclusive opportunity to publish laboratory analyses from the Center for Preventive Doping Research at the German Sport University Cologne (Zentrum für Präventive Dopingforschung der DSHS Köln). The publication is included in the listing fee. Companies only incur the following laboratory costs at the Center for Preventive Doping Research.

a) anabolic-androgenic steroids: 

    € 210.00 plus the applicable statutory VAT.

b) anabolic-androgenic steroids and stimulants:   

    € 500.00 plus the applicable statutory VAT.

Previous studies concerning contaminated nutritional supplements have shown that most contaminations of products with banned substances have been caused by anabolic-androgenic steroids (prohormones). This is why this analysis is a prerequisite for inclusion on the Cologne List.

Researchers into performance enhancing drugs are of the opinion that nutritional supplements are also increasingly being contaminated with stimulants. As there is as of yet no binding study concerning this, we offer the publication of the test for stimulants, but this analysis is not yet a prerequisite for the inclusion of a product on the list.

To ensure that test results are comparable and are based on one analysis procedure and the quality standards of a single scientific institution, only the analyses carried out by the Center for Preventive Doping Research at the German Sport University Cologne are published. Companies can publish analysis reports from other laboratories under the section “Manufacturer’s Comments”.
